 CHINESE MUTTON RECIPE 


Spicy Cumin Lamb


Ingredients:


500g lamb, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons Chinese cooking wine

2 teaspoons sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon chili flakes

1 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorn powder

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 green onions, chopped

1 red chili pepper, sliced

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, sugar, salt, ground cumin, chili flakes, and Sichuan peppercorn powder together until well combined.


Heat a wok or a large frying pan over high heat. Add the vegetable oil and swirl to coat the pan. Add the lamb and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes or until browned.


Add the minced garlic, green onions, and sliced red chili pepper. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.


Add the sauce mixture to the pan and stir-fry until the lamb is fully coated with the sauce.


Turn off the heat and sprinkle the sesame seeds over the lamb.


Serve hot with rice or noodles.
